This certification validates that the technical presales professional is fully prepared to provide the technical support needed during the sale of HP enterprise-class products and solutions, including the positioning of these solutions.
This certification and the associated training prepare the presales professional to plan and design an HP enterprise solution that meets a customer’s specific business needs. The solution may include HP servers, storage, networking and third party products and solutions. The certification candidate will learn best practices; planning and designing principles; how to use HP sizing and configurator tools; and other resources that can help in designing a solution.
This certification is a prerequisite for other HP certifications and is used in HP channel partner programs.
HP and channel partner presales professionals who plan and design HP enterprise solutions。
The candidate must pass one core requirement exam.
Superseded certification and upgrade path
APP – HP Enterprise Solutions [2010] supersedes the certification APP – HP Enterprise Solutions, which cannot be acquired after 30 April 2010. Due to the extensive amount of new content in the new certification, there is no delta exam. The candidate who wants to upgrade must complete all the requirements of APP – HP Enterprise Solutions [2010].
